Quality Incidents (rework)

It is best practice to record rework that may be caused through workmanship and other reasons.

Recording rework is an important key performance indicator (KPI) for many companies and provides a insight into the costs of quality

 

The suggested method is:

 

  • Go into the job Summary Area of a Job
  • Press the NCR button
  • Complete the NCR Form

 

If the job requires repeating, or further then:

  • Copy the existing job (keeping the same BOM)
  • Ensure there is zero value in the invoice grid
  • Tag the job as 'rework'  (to allow time to be tracked
  • Reissue the jobcard and complete the job as normal
  • Invoice the original job.
